It’s been a minute 💛

If you’ve noticed a little more quiet from me lately, there’s a reason.

I recently had a procedure for my back, and for a little while, I needed to step away from my mat and give my body something it was asking for:

Rest.

And I’m learning—again—that rest is not the opposite of practice.

Rest is the practice.

We live in a world that celebrates pushing through, staying productive, and getting back to “normal” as quickly as possible. But yoga continues to remind me that sometimes the most loving thing we can do is listen.

To soften.

To be still.

To let healing happen without rushing it.

My yoga practice didn’t disappear because I wasn’t moving through poses. It simply changed shape.

Yoga became listening to my body.

Yoga became patience.

Yoga became accepting where I was instead of wishing I were somewhere else.

Yoga became allowing myself to rest without feeling like I needed to earn it.

And maybe someone reading this needs that reminder too:

You are allowed to rest.

You don’t have to wait until everything is finished.
You don’t have to justify it.
And you don’t have to feel guilty for stepping away.

Sometimes stepping away from the mat is where we discover just how much of our yoga has actually come with us.

I’m slowly finding my way back, carrying a little more compassion for my body—and an even deeper appreciation for the quiet practices of Yin, breath, sound, stillness, and simply being.

Thank you for still being here and for being part of this little community I’m weaving through Threads by ZenSetter.

It feels good to be writing to you again.

With love,
Sophia 💛

Welcome to Threads by Zensetter.

This is more than a wellness brand — it's an invitation to come home to yourself.

Founded by Sophia Musto, Threads by Zensetter weaves together the healing arts of yin yoga, reiki, sound bath, breathwork, and sound frequency

therapy into a sanctuary for whole-body wellness.

Here, healing is not rushed.

It is felt — in the stillness of a long yin hold, in the vibration of a singing bowl, in the rhythm of your own breath,

in the quiet energy of a reiki session.

Every modality offered here speaks the same language: you are worthy of deep rest, deep healing, and a deeply intentional life.

Every thread matters. Every breath counts.

You are welcome here — exactly as you are.
